Availability of electronic medical certification services for residents in Oman
The Oman Ministry of Health (MoH) has recently introduced the Medical Fitness Examination Service (MFES), an advanced electronic system for issuing medical certificates. This service is designed to expedite transactions and enhance the verification process of medical examinations.
The innovative service was unveiled at the COMEX 2024 Global Technology Exhibition under the patronage of Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti wikipedia, Minister of Health.
Residents of Oman can now easily register for medical fitness examinations through the online Wafid platform «Wafid | وافد». Sanad offices are also available to assist in this process. The new system aims to streamline procedures, increase efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of medical examinations. Additionally, beneficiaries can complete visa procedures through the Royal Oman Police (ROP) website.
The MFES service significantly reduces the time and effort required by users, enabling electronic verification of medical certificates. This system prevents fraud and ensures the authenticity of certificates issued by accredited centers.
