New Air Treaties between Oman, Egypt, and Indonesia

In an effort to strengthen economic and political relations with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Indonesia, and to facilitate passenger and cargo transportation, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman executed two significant treaties in the field of air transport with Egypt and Indonesia yesterday.
The contents of these two treaties are as follows:
Royal Decree No. 29/2024: This decree ratifies the “Agreement on Regular Air Services between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt,” signed on April 23, 2024, in Cairo.
Royal Decree No. 30/2024: This decree ratifies the “Agreement on Air Transport between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia,” signed on June 15, 2022, in Muscat.
The implementation of these two treaties is expected to increase air traffic between Oman, Egypt, and Indonesia, consequently boosting tourism and commercial exchange.
