Rolls-Royce Launches Bee Sanctuary in Oman

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has launched a new bee sanctuary in Oman, continuing its commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation. Inspired by the successful Goodwood Apiary established in 2017, this initiative aims to protect and promote the bee population in the country.

Located in the scenic Alila Jabal Akhdar, the Rolls-Royce Apiary in Oman features four beehives, each named after a Rolls-Royce model: Phantom, Ghost, Spectre, and Cullinan. These hives are specially designed to withstand Oman’s high temperatures and are home to Omani Queen bees.

“With the Rolls-Royce Apiary in Muscat, we will create a ‘buzz’ of activity across the country,” said Rachid Zamani, Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Muscat. “This initiative is very close to our hearts, and we are committed to maintaining Oman’s vital bee population and creating a refuge for these incredible creatures.”

In addition to the conservation efforts, the Apiary will serve as an educational platform. Rolls-Royce plans to invite students, media, and clients to participate in Q&A sessions, apiary tours, and even hands-on beekeeping experiences. The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of bees in the ecosystem and inspire people to take action to protect them.
