Emergency Landing of a Flight from Riyadh in Muscat Due to Security Alert

The Civil Aviation Authority of Oman has issued an official statement regarding a security report at Muscat International Airport.
According to the statement, the Civil Aviation Authority, in collaboration with its strategic partners, professionally handled a security incident involving a foreign airline. The flight, which was en route from Riyadh to Mumbai carrying 192 passengers (including crew), made an emergency landing at Muscat Airport due to the incident.
Emergency teams and relevant authorities immediately responded to the situation, taking all necessary precautions. The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed in its statement that all passengers and crew were safe and that there was no real threat aboard the aircraft.
The Authority also expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the emergency response teams and strategic partners for their professional handling of the security report and ensuring the highest standards of safety and security throughout the incident.
