Urgent Call for Blood Donations in Oman
The Ministry of Health has issued a warning regarding the critical shortage of blood reserves at the Central Blood Bank. The blood reserves are only sufficient for the next 48 hours, and there is an urgent need for blood donations to support vital treatments and surgeries.
Blood types in critical condition:
- O+, A+, B+: Very low levels
- O-, A-, B-: Severely depleted reserves
- AB-: Very rare blood type and in an emergency situation
The Ministry has stated: If you meet the requirements for blood donation, we invite you to visit the nearest blood donation center.
