Sultan Haitham Hosts Banquet on the Occasion of Sultan Armed Forces Day

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Oman, hosted a banquet on the evening of Wednesday, December 11, to mark the Sultan Armed Forces Day at Al-Shumoukh Fort in the Wilayat of Manah.

The annual event is held to honor and recognize the exceptional contributions of the Sultan Armed Forces in safeguarding national resources, maintaining security, and fulfilling their sacred duties. These forces play a pivotal role in ensuring Oman’s stability and supporting its progress and development.

The banquet was attended by members of the Royal Family, ministers, military commanders, senior civilian and military officers, and retirees, reflecting the nation’s appreciation for the armed forces’ vital role in national security and prosperity.
