For those who prefer notifications via SMS, a messaging service is available through the number 90058. This service includes:
- Reminders for ID card or resident card expiry dates.
- Alerts for passport expiry dates.
- Notifications for vehicle registration expiry dates.
- Tracking visa application status.
How to Subscribe to SMS Services
- To subscribe, send the word HELP to 90085.
- Cost per SMS: 100 baisa.
- Subscription fee for SMS alerts: 1 OMR, valid for six months.
Special Services for Expatriates
Expatriates can use their driving license number or resident card number instead of a civil ID number to access these services.
Free Access via the ROP App
