Traffic Restrictions for the Muscat Cycling Race

On Friday, February 7, 2025, the third edition of the Muscat Classic Race will take place. The cycling event will start at 11:50 AM from Al Mouj Muscat, with cyclists passing through various roads in the city.
Traffic Warnings and Parking Restrictions
🔸 Parking on both sides of the roads along the race route will be prohibited.
🔸 Heavy traffic congestion is expected in some areas.
Roads Affected by Traffic Restrictions
✅ Al Mouj Muscat
✅ Seeb Corniche Road to Al Mabela Bridge
✅ South Al Mabela traffic lights (near Al Qabayel Center), turning left, then right at Al Nuzha Roundabout towards Muscat Expressway
✅ Muscat Expressway → Rusayl-Nizwa Road → Rusayl-Bousher Road → passing through Falaj Al Sham, Al Ansab, and Ghala village → continuing towards Al Amerat and Jabal Akhdar Road
✅ Al Amerat → Al Mahaj Junction → Wadi Adai → Al Hamriyah
The race will conclude in Sadab, in front of the Council of Oman.
The Royal Oman Police advises drivers to use alternative routes during this time and to comply with traffic regulations.
