Oman Air Carries 5.4 Million Passengers in 2024

Oman Air successfully carried over 5.4 million passengers in 2024, marking a strong operational performance amid the airline’s ongoing transformation plan initiated in 2023.

According to the annual media briefing, EBITDA improved by 51% compared to 2023, while the airline reported Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) of 19.4 billion.

A key milestone was the significant rise in point-to-point traffic, which increased from 27% in 2019 to 40% in 2024, reflecting growing demand for Oman Air’s direct routes in the region.

The airline also achieved an impressive On-Time Performance (OTP) rate of 92%, positioning it among the region’s top-performing carriers in punctuality.

Oman Air’s turnaround is part of the country’s broader strategy to enhance the aviation sector and elevate service standards at the regional and global levels.
