🇬🇧 Rapid EV Charging Stations to Expand in Oman Through Porsche and Shell Partnership

Muscat – 29 May 2025, Porsche Centre Oman (SATA L.L.C.), in partnership with Shell Oman Marketing Company, has announced a strategic initiative to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the Sultanate—marking a major step forward in supporting green mobility in Oman.

According to the agreement, at least eight co-branded DC high-performance charging stations and 125 Porsche Destination AC Chargers will be installed nationwide by the end of 2026.

As part of the initiative, all Porsche customers purchasing electric models starting from 1 June 2025 will receive a two-year free subscription of up to 2,250 kWh for high-speed charging. Additionally, Porsche Destination Chargers will remain free for all Porsche owners.

The project aligns with Oman’s sustainability vision and national roadmap for e-mobility, while addressing growing demands for reliable EV charging solutions.

The new DC fast chargers will be installed at Shell service stations, ensuring convenient and efficient access for EV drivers, especially Porsche owners.
