Iranian Navy Intercepts British Warship in the Sea of Oman
Muscat – June 15, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported on Saturday that the Iranian Navy intercepted a British surveillance destroyer in the Sea of Oman.
The Iranian forces reportedly forced the warship to alter its course and leave the area.
The development comes hours after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the deployment of additional military assets, including fighter jets, to the Middle East in response to rising tensions across the region.
