Omani Sultan Phones Iranian President, Offers Official Condolences to the Iranian Nation

On Monday, 16 June 2025, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman held a phone call with President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran, offering his official condolences for the victims of the recent Israeli attacks.

Sultan Haitham expressed deep concern over the human losses and infrastructure damage in Iran, emphasizing the urgent need for both sides to de-escalate and return to political negotiations.
