Extraordinary GCC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Doha to Discuss Attack on Qatar

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced that an extraordinary meeting of the GCC Foreign Ministers will be held today, Tuesday, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to discuss the recent missile attack on Qatar.
Jasem Mohammed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC, stated that the 49th extraordinary session of the Ministerial Council will convene under the chairmanship of Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, current president of the Council, with the participation of the foreign ministers of all GCC member states.
The meeting will focus on the latest developments concerning the Iranian missile attack targeting the State of Qatar.
Albudaiwi stressed that this meeting reaffirms the unified stance of GCC countries in support of Qatar, and that Qatar’s security and stability are inseparable from that of the entire GCC region.
