Direct Muscat–Beijing Flights Launched by China Eastern Starting Today

The Oman Civil Aviation Authority has announced the issuance of official approval for the launch of direct flights by China Eastern Airlines between Muscat and Beijing. According to the permit, the airline has started operating the route as of today with two flights per week.

The launch of this new route is considered an important step in strengthening tourism, trade, and air transport relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the People’s Republic of China, and is expected to play a significant role in increasing passenger and economic exchanges between the two countries.

These flights also form part of Oman’s strategy to expand its international flight network and attract more Asian tourists.
