Special Royal Pardon for 247 Prisoners on the Occasion of Oman’s National Day

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq has issued a special royal pardon for 247 prisoners, covering both Omani and non-Omani inmates convicted in various cases.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the pardon was granted in celebration of National Day 2025, with the aim of easing the circumstances of prisoners’ families and supporting the reintegration of released individuals into society.
