Al-Rimal Project in Bausher Declared a Public Interest Development

June 19, 2025, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman has issued Royal Decree No. 55/2025, designating the development of Al-Rimal in Bausher, Muscat Governorate as a project of public interest. This designation allows the government to legally acquire the required land for implementation.

According to the decree, based on the Public Expropriation Law issued in 2023, relevant government authorities are authorized to take possession of the necessary plots through direct execution, in accordance with legal procedures.

The decree affirms that this designation serves the public good and aims to advance urban development in the capital. The project boundaries are specified in the attached map and official documentation.

As stipulated in Article 3 of the decree, it shall be published in the Official Gazette and enter into force from the date of issuance. The decision is expected to pave the way for the implementation of a major infrastructure and urban development initiative in Bausher.
