The Public Transport Company, Mwasalat, has begun testing the first electric bus manufactured by MAN on selected routes within Muscat. This initiative is part of the company’s efforts to evaluate the performance of electric buses and align them with operational standards.

In Khareef 2024, Mwasalat introduced its first electric bus as part of national initiatives to achieve the goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
