Envoy of the Sultan of Oman arrives in Riyadh to attend GCC–US Leaders Summit
May 14, 2025, Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, the Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman and Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, arrived today in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to lead Oman’s delegation at the GCC–US Leaders Summit.
This high-level summit is taking place the same day with the participation of leaders and senior representatives from GCC member states and the United States.
Official reception at King Khalid International Airport
Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport, the envoy and his accompanying delegation were officially received by senior Saudi officials, including:
- Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region
- Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council
- Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan, Saudi Ambassador to Oman
- A number of Saudi officials and members of the Omani Embassy in Riyadh
