Khazaen Economic City has signed an investment agreement with Muscat Changming Investment Company to establish an integrated Chinese industrial complex with an estimated investment of OMR 200 million (Omani Rials) (~$520 Million).
A Large-Scale Industrial Hub
The new industrial complex will cover an area exceeding 160,000 square meters, featuring state-of-the-art facilities, including workshops and production lines, contributing to the development of light and medium industries across multiple sectors. The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, according to Oman News Agency.
Comprehensive Facilities and Infrastructure
The industrial complex will include:
- Packaging areas and logistics warehouses serving as regional storage and distribution centers.
- Workspaces, administrative buildings, and showrooms to support business and investment activities.
- A state-of-the-art auto repair center offering maintenance, repair, and spare parts services.
- An advanced car showroom equipped with specialized lighting systems.
- A driving simulation area and a designated space for new car launch events.
- A range of supporting services and facilities to enhance industrial and commercial operations.
