His Majesty Sultan Haitham Performs Eid Al Fitr Prayer at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
On the first day of Eid Al Fitr 1446 AH, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik performed the Eid prayer on the morning of Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher, Governorate of Muscat.
The prayer was led by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, who began the sermon with praises to Allah and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The sermon emphasized balance in religious practice, harmony in life, avoiding extremism and negligence, and the vital role of religion in shaping peaceful and stable societies.
Following the prayer, His Majesty accepted Eid greetings from worshippers and exchanged warm wishes for continued peace, prosperity, and divine blessings. In tribute, the Royal Army of Oman fired 21 ceremonial cannon shots.
The event was attended by members of the royal family, senior military and government officials, members of the State Council and Shura Council, dignitaries, scholars, and citizens.
