Last week, Oman’s Tender Board approved seven road infrastructure projects worth over 119 million Omani Rials (approximately 309 million USD). These projects include:
- Widening of the Izki-Nizwa Road (46.8 million Omani Rials) to enhance safety and traffic flow.
- Widening of the Salalah-Mahout Road (34.8 million Omani Rials) with the construction of bridges and underpasses.
- Completion of the Abileh-Fayyad Road (19.5 million Omani Rials) featuring safety enhancements for better transit.
- Construction of five bridges on the Sohar-Al Buraimi Road (6 million Omani Rials) to improve safety.
- Design and execution of the Aqabat Afri Road (4.5 million Omani Rials) connecting Samail and Izki.
- Upgrade of the Saih Qutnah Road (4.5 million Omani Rials) to a dual lane.
- Construction of the Saih Al Khayrat-Shaysir Road (3.6 million Omani Rials) extending 9.4 kilometers.
