Muscat Airport Launches Special RO 1 Daily Long-Term Parking Offer

On the occasion of Oman Logistics Day 2025, Oman Airports has announced the launch of a special daily long-term parking offer at Muscat International Airport. Travelers can now park at P5 long-term parking for just OMR 1 per day from April 30 to September 30, 2025, perfectly aligning with the Khareef tourist season.

This initiative is part of a broader package by Oman Airports to support the logistics and tourism sectors, aiming to reduce travel costs and enhance accessibility for passengers. The RO 1 daily parking offer is considered an affordable and convenient solution for both domestic and international travelers needing extended parking.

Additionally, passengers can enjoy special discounts at the “Souq Oman” store, featuring traditional Omani products such as dates, halwa, and local souvenirs, enriching the shopping experience at the terminal.

Further enhancements include a new online “shop and collect” service at the airport’s duty-free market, allowing travelers to conveniently pick up purchases before or after flights.

According to officials, Oman’s logistics sector contributed over OMR 2.25 billion (~USD 5.8 billion) to the national GDP in 2024, with projections estimating growth to OMR 36 billion (~USD 93.5 billion) by 2040.
