His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, will embark on an official state visit to the Sultanate of Oman starting on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
In a statement issued by the Sultanate of Oman’s Diwan of Royal Court yesterday, it was announced:
“In recognition of the high commitment of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar – may God preserve them both – to expand avenues of cooperation between Oman and Qatar and to achieve greater prosperity and progress for the two countries, the Emir of Qatar will undertake an official visit to Oman.”
Objectives of the Visit
- Strengthening joint cooperation between Oman and Qatar across various fields.
- Discussing regional and international issues and exchanging views on key topics.
- Striving for a brighter and more prosperous future for both countries and their peoples.
The statement concluded:
“May Allah guide the wise leaderships of Oman and Qatar toward achieving the well-being, happiness, and prosperity of their peoples and the Islamic and Arab nations.”
