Sultan of Oman Meets UK Prime Minister in London – August 6

On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, during his official visit to London, met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street. This meeting served as an important opportunity to discuss and strengthen the historical and close ties between Oman and the United Kingdom, emphasizing the need to enhance bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and the UK Prime Minister discussed ways to improve and expand economic and political relations to achieve the mutual interests of the two friendly nations, Oman and the UK. His Majesty also highlighted the importance of broadening cooperation in various areas, including trade and culture.

The two sides also exchanged views on recent developments at the regional and international levels and discussed shared issues and challenges. This visit was part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation and achieve common goals in various fields.
