Oman Among Top Countries with Largest Global Maritime Fleets

The Sultanate of Oman has been ranked among the top 35 countries with the largest global maritime fleets in terms of tonnage and cargo capacity, according to the 2024 United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) report. Additionally, 10 Gulf container ports have been included in the top 70 most efficient ports worldwide, out of 405 ports evaluated globally.
