Sultan of Oman Orders Release of 174 Prisoners on Country’s 54th National Day

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, has issued a royal pardon for 174 prisoners on the occasion of the country’s 54th National Day. The Royal Oman Police announced this decision on Sunday via social media.

The royal decree applies to a total of 174 individuals, including both Omani citizens and foreign nationals, who had been convicted of various offenses.
