Oman LNG Reports Record Output of 11.98 Million Tons and $1.7 Billion Net Income

Oman LNG has announced a historic production milestone in its annual report, reaching 11.98 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in 2024 — the highest in the company’s history. This performance included 181 export shipments (126 from Oman LNG and 55 from Qalhat Natural Gas).
Key Performance Indicators:
- Operational reliability: 98.2%
- Thermal efficiency: 91.17%
- Commercial revenue: $6.5 billion
- Net income after tax: $1.7 billion
Market Development & Innovation:
- Signed long-term sales agreements totaling 10.4 million tons
- Chartered 2 new LNG vessels from Asyad
- Launched 4 research projects with local universities focused on clean energy and hydrogen
Social Investment & Omanisation:
- Over OMR 20 million allocated to social projects
- Omanisation rate: 95.6% (100% in senior management)
- Invested OMR 570,000 in academic partnerships
- 79% of supply chain spending with local companies
