Oman Condemns Israeli Attack, Urges Restraint in the Middle East

Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the brutal attack by the Israeli regime on Lebanese territory and emphasized the importance of restraint to protect the region and its peoples from the dangers of war.

According to ILNA, citing Russia Al-Youm, Oman is closely monitoring the military tensions in the Middle East and the risks associated with them, stressing the need for restraint to safeguard the region and its nations from the perils of conflict.

The Ministry condemned the brutal assault on Lebanon and the irresponsible political assassinations that disregard international norms and laws.

It reiterated its opposition to the ongoing occupation, which has lasted over 70 years, as the primary cause of continued conflict and violence in the region, undermining any genuine efforts to uphold the rights of the people in achieving the necessary security and stability.
