On the eve of Omani Women’s Day, the First Lady of Oman, wife of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, issued a message highlighting the vital and impactful role of Omani women in the flourishing and advancement of the country.
She emphasized that October 17 is an opportunity to celebrate Omani women, stating, “Women, with steadfast determination and strong will, have proven that success knows no bounds. Their influence across all sectors reflects their commitment and relentless efforts for the development and prosperity of our nation.”
The First Lady regarded the remarkable achievements of Omani women as an inspiring source and noted, “Women should continue on their journey, enhancing their skills to remain a symbol of awareness and positivity in society. Their voices against extremist and narrow-minded ideologies are crucial.”
She also addressed the new challenges women face in the digital age, stating, “Today, women bear dual responsibilities, especially in raising children and preserving family unity. In a world filled with social media, the necessity of awareness and wisdom in utilizing these tools is more critical than ever.”
