Omani Foreign Minister Engages in Intensive Talks to De-escalate Regional Tensions

Oman’s Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi has engaged in a series of intensive communications with his counterparts in friendly and brotherly nations, as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to contain the dangerous military escalation in the region caused by Israel’s direct attacks on Iranian territory since the early hours of Friday.

During these calls, His Excellency emphasized the urgent need to halt aggression and to hold the aggressor accountable through peaceful means rooted in international law and justice, aiming to stop the bloodshed, destruction, and further civilian casualties.

He also underlined the importance of preserving the region’s security and stability, and protecting the higher interests of its peoples.
