Omani Racing Star Takes on New Challenge at U.S. Endurance Racing

Ahmad al Harthy, the prominent Omani driver, will participate in the sixth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship this weekend in the United States. The race, held at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, will present a new and exciting challenge for al Harthy and the WRT team.
The six-hour race, known as the “Lone Star Le Mans”, will take place on Sunday. Al Harthy and his team, which includes Valentino Rossi and Maxime Martin, will compete in the BMW M4 LMGT3 number 46 car, aiming to secure significant points.
Currently, al Harthy and his team are in sixth place in the LMGT3 driver standings. The season has been marked by ups and downs, with their best performance so far being a second-place finish in Imola, Italy.
Ahmad al Harthy said, “I’m really looking forward to racing at COTA for the first time. It’s going to be another amazing first in my career, and I’m excited to learn this incredible circuit and prepare as best as we can for qualifying and the race.”
He added, “Racing in the USA for the first time is thrilling, and I’m proud to represent Oman. I hope we can achieve a strong result.”
