Omani-Saudi Foreign Ministers’ Meeting Held in Al Jabal Al Akhdar

The Omani-Saudi Foreign Ministers’ meeting took place yesterday (28 April 2025) in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar, A’Dakhiliyah Governorate. Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, met with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman.

During the Omani-Saudi Foreign Ministers’ meeting, the two sides discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation and implementing joint initiatives within the framework of the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council, aimed at advancing the mutual interests of both nations.

The meeting also covered key regional and international developments, with emphasis on pursuing political and diplomatic solutions to ongoing challenges.

Both ministers stressed the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation, boosting joint cooperation, strengthening regional security and stability, and supporting sustainable development initiatives.

On the sidelines of the Omani-Saudi Foreign Ministers’ meeting, the two officials visited the Rub’ al Khali border crossing, a strategic project that enhances land connectivity between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
