HM the Sultan Receives Credentials of New Ambassadors

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received, at Al Barakah Palace, the credentials of several new ambassadors from Arab and friendly countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

The ambassadors who presented their credentials are as follows:

  • Aidarbek Toumatov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Francisco Javier de Isturiz, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain.
  • Bashir Hassan Haji, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
  • Rashad Ismayilov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
  • Nabil Hajlaoui, Ambassador of the French Republic.
  • Agis Loizou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus.
  • Abdi Aden Korio, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya.
  • Tharwah Neimat, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
  • Ibrahim Saad Ibrahim Bishan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ambassadors conveyed their leaders’ well wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and expressed their countries’ desire to enhance cooperation, investments, and partnerships across various sectors.

His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors and appreciated the goodwill of their leaders, wishing them success in their roles. He assured them of the government’s full support in helping them achieve their shared objectives.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of Royal Protocols, and military aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
