Rollout of AI-Powered Recycling Machines with Rewards Begins in Oman
Sparklo, a global leader in clean technology and AI-driven solutions, has commenced the installation of its Sparklomat recycling machines in Oman. These advanced machines, designed to support the recycling of plastic bottles and aluminum cans, have been set up at five key locations around Muscat: The Royal Hospital Heart Centre, The Royal Hospital Main Hall entrance, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Hay Al Jamea Health Center, and Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.
The Sparklomat machines allow users to deposit plastic bottles and aluminum cans in exchange for points, which can be redeemed for rewards and discounts at renowned brands such as Playstation Store, Shukran Gift Card, Levelshoes, Namshi, Itlaki, Glasseslit, and Blackview.
These machines are also operational in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, aiming to boost recycling rates and reduce landfill waste across the region. Sparklo reports that over the past 18 months, its extensive network of reverse vending machines has collected more than 33 million plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
This initiative not only expands Sparklo‘s geographical presence but also contributes to building sustainable infrastructure and fostering eco-friendly habits in Oman and neighboring countries.
