Royal Decree Grants Omani Citizenship to 156 Individuals

Muscat – 18 May 2025, In its latest issue (No. 1596), the Official Gazette of Oman published the details of Royal Decree No. 49/2024, through which Omani citizenship has been granted to 156 individuals.
The decree, issued by His Majesty the Sultan, follows legal procedures managed by the Ministry of Interior, including eligibility review, residency requirements, and background checks.
The names of those granted citizenship have been officially listed in the published decree and are available in the printed version of the Gazette.
Omani citizenship is granted selectively, often to those with long-term residency, professional contributions, or strong familial ties within the Sultanate.
