Seizure of Large Quantities of Filler and Botox Materials in Muscat

Omani authorities announced that yesterday, in a large-scale operation, they successfully seized approximately 5,000 items used in cosmetic procedures and arrested several foreign workers active in Oman. These individuals were illegally providing cosmetic and medical services, including Botox and filler injections.

According to the Omani Consumer Protection Authority, the operation took place in residential apartments and a beauty center in the Muscat Governorate, where these foreign workers were performing cosmetic and medical services.

The authority emphasized that the workers were providing these services without adhering to medical regulations and without obtaining the necessary licenses from the relevant authorities.

During this operation, around 5,000 items, including creams, injections, and medical supplies, were confiscated. Legal actions are being taken against the violators.

Health officials are working diligently to prevent the entry of unverified medical materials and unqualified individuals into the beauty sector, which is witnessing rapid growth and attracting both women and men.
