Special Pardon Issued by Sultan Haitham for a Number of Prisoners
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander of Oman, has issued a special royal pardon for a number of prisoners convicted in various cases.
A responsible source from the Royal Oman Police stated that the total number of prisoners granted this royal pardon has reached 305 individuals, including Omani citizens and foreign nationals.
This royal pardon coincides with the occasion of January 11th, the anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham assuming the reins of power, and aims to show consideration for the families of the prisoners.
