Sultan Haitham Concludes State Visit to the Netherlands with Key Meetings in The Hague

On the final day of his three-day state visit to the Netherlands, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met with top Dutch officials in The Hague to reinforce bilateral ties and parliamentary cooperation.

His Majesty held separate meetings with Professor Jan Anthonie Bruijn, President of the Senate, and Dr. Martin Bosma, Speaker of the House of Representatives, at the Dutch Parliament. The discussions focused on enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation and democratic engagement between the two nations.
His Majesty also met with Prime Minister Dick Schoof at the Dutch Prime Ministry headquarters, where both sides exchanged views on regional and global developments, energy partnerships, and opportunities to expand economic collaboration.
In honor of the state visit, a working lunch was hosted by the Prime Minister and attended by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima at the Prime Minister’s Office.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham departed the Netherlands on Tuesday evening, marking the conclusion of a successful three-day visit aimed at advancing strategic cooperation in clean energy, maritime trade, innovation, and cultural exchange between the two friendly nations.
