Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met with King Charles III yesterday evening at Windsor Castle, on the fourth day of his private visit to London, which began on 29 June 2025. The meeting took place in a warm and personal atmosphere, within the framework of the traditional ties between the two nations, and was held without official ceremonies but with thoughtful and strategic substance.
During the meeting, both leaders reflected on the historic, deep-rooted, and multifaceted relations between Oman and the United Kingdom. They explored avenues for expanding cooperation at various levels, considering current regional and global developments. Shared international concerns and the impact of global political shifts were also discussed.
This visit, traditionally announced through the royal phrase “Surrounded by the care of God”, reflects the Sultan’s practice of undertaking personal journeys that often include high-level informal consultations and moments of strategic reflection.
