Sultan Haitham’s Surprise Visit to Sultan Faisal School in Al-Amrat

This morning, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik made a visit to Sultan Faisal bin Turki School for Boys in Al-Amrat, located in the Governorate of Muscat. The visit aimed to evaluate the progress of educational and training processes, review the implementation of modern programs, and enhance the academic and cognitive development of students.

Upon His Majesty’s arrival at the school, he was warmly received by Dr. Madiha Al-Shaibani, the Minister of Education, along with several senior officials from the ministry.

Welcome Ceremony

The visit began with a scout group performance to welcome His Majesty, followed by the recital of a special poem by one of the students in honor of this important occasion.

Tour of Facilities and Programs

His Majesty was briefed on the school’s activities and toured its various facilities. He attended several classes, learning centers, and scientific laboratories. Additionally, His Majesty visited a special exhibition, showcasing examples of student-led programs in areas such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, vocational and technical education, and the integration of artificial intelligence in education.

During the visit, His Majesty participated in a workshop held in the visual arts hall and attended music and sports skill sessions.
