Iran reopens most airports and allows overflight for international routes during daytime

5 July 2025
Iran has reopened the majority of its airports to both domestic and international flights and has also allowed international overflights through its airspace during the daytime, according to Tasnim News Agency.
Flights are permitted between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with the exception of Isfahan and Tabriz airports, which remain non-operational.
This partial resumption of aviation activity follows recent airspace restrictions amid heightened security concerns. The move is seen as a step toward restoring normal air traffic operations and reducing flight safety warnings across Iranian skies.
