Iranian President Set to Visit Oman Next Week

Muscat – 20 May 2025 | Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described his upcoming official visit to Oman next week as “a turning point in deepening the comprehensive relations between the two countries.”
The statement was made during his meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi. The Iranian President emphasized that Tehran is ready to expand cooperation with Oman in all fields, including trade, politics, economy, science, and technology.
According to Alam Al Eqtesad newspaper, published in Tehran, the meeting was part of Iran’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with Islamic countries and to build strategic partnerships with Oman, seen as a reliable regional partner.
The visit comes as the two nations have, in recent years, developed dynamic and growing relations across a range of sectors, from diplomatic mediation to economic and logistical cooperation.
