Official Public Holidays Announced in Oman on Thursday and Sunday, 15 & 18 January
According to an official announcement, Thursday, 15 January, and Sunday, 18 January 2026 have been declared public holidays across Oman on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Accession of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik (Yawm Tawallī Maqālīd al-Ḥukm).
The holidays are designated to mark this national occasion and will apply to all government institutions as well as the private sector.
