Sultan of Oman Embarks on an Official Visit to Brussels, Belgium

His Majesty Haitham bin Tarik – Sultan of Oman – will embark on an official visit to Belgium on Monday, December 2, 2024, upon the invitation of King Philippe Leopold, the King of Belgium. The visit aims to strengthen cooperation between Oman and Belgium and discuss key international matters.

Royal Court Statement: His Majesty Sultan Haitham to Visit Belgium

The Omani Royal Court issued a statement, which read in part:

“Responding to the kind invitation of King Philippe Leopold of Belgium and with the aim of enhancing cooperation between Oman and Belgium, His Majesty the Sultan – by the will and grace of Allah – will conduct an official visit to Belgium. This visit will explore existing avenues of collaboration in various fields and include consultations on regional and international issues.”

His Majesty will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of Omani officials, including:

• HH Shihab bin Tarik Al Said – Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs.
• HE Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi – Minister of the Royal Court.
